Getting around - Surrounding area
The surrounding nature, with all its possibilities, offers plenty of options for relaxing with long walks, enjoying bike rides or unwinding on excursions to the nearby recreational areas (e.g. Lüneburg Heath, Wümme Lowland, Achim-Verdener Geest, NABU nature reserves with the Dör't Moor) or on hikes on the region's northern trails (for people who prefer flatland hiking). The apartments are a perfect starting point for your activities at the nearby adventure parks such as Magic Park Verden, Heide Park Soltau and Serengeti Park Hodenhagen etc. It is also only 20 minutes to Bremen with its many other activities such as the Bremen Town Musicians, trade fairs etc. During the week there are also bus and train connections from Ahausen to Rotenburg/Wümme and from there via Hamburg or Bremen to the entire republic and beyond. You can therefore simply leave your car at home. Please note: On weekends, public transport between Ahausen and Rotenburg Wümme is very limited, requiring a shuttle service, which we offer for a fee. ROW is only 10 km away and easily accessible by bike. Touring bikes with gears are available free of charge. Walsrode Bird Park is 45 km away, and Magic Park Verden is only 15 km from Ahausen. Bremen Central Station (46 km) and Bremen Airport (41 km) can be reached within 30 minutes. The region's highlight for nature lovers, the Dör't Moor, is 10 km away, and the Dörverden Wolf Center can be reached in just 35 minutes. The Dodenhof shopping center and Bremen's Weserpark are also within striking distance, less than 20 minutes away. Sottrum and Rotenburg Wümme are comfortably close at just 10 km, so everything you need is definitely nearby.

It is only 20 minutes to Bremen, where you can experience many other activities (e.g. Bremen Town Musicians, Waterfront with surrounding events or Weserpark - the shopping experience world in bad weather) and can therefore be reached very quickly.
Lake Bullensee (about 16 km away by bike) in the NABU nature reserve offers a great place to cool off on hot days. There are also many hiking trails there and, in the summer months, a restaurant serving coffee and cake, as well as small hot meals for a pit stop.
The entire area in and around Ahausen has an extremely high game population, so you can see many large herds of fallow deer and red deer. We also have some albinos and a large number of 12-, 14-, 16-, etc. multi-year deer in the herds, which can make the sight a special one.

No-Gos: Drug use of any kind (including legal drugs such as cannabis) is not tolerated either inside or outside the apartment. Violations will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and immediate eviction from the apartment without any right to reimbursement or partial reimbursement.

A quietly located holiday apartment in a beautiful house. The apartment is superbly furnished, and we felt completely at home. Everything you need is there. We were even able to rent bikes there and take a wonderful trip to the Weisses Moor.

The apartment is very lovingly furnished and has absolutely everything you need. The location is a bit out of the way, so it's very quiet. I would move in there permanently in a heartbeat; it's fantastic.
