House rules
House rules of the Martin Weißhaar family - Birkenstr. 23 - 27367 Ahausen
Dear holiday guests!
Our holiday apartments are intended to be a home away from home. You should feel comfortable and able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into their furnishings and hope you will find everything you need. The following house rules are intended to help you enjoy a pleasant stay. We have also listed a few rules that we hope you will understand. By treating the apartment properly, you will help us continue to offer you and other guests satisfactory accommodations in the future.
Generally
If you are missing anything in the facility or need assistance, please feel free to contact us. All items located in the apartment or on the terrace, or belonging to it, may and should be used by guests. Please treat all furnishings and inventory with care and treat the rental property with respect. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions.
Kitchen
Please treat the kitchen equipment and appliances with care. Since a dirty kitchen is no fun, please only store dishes, pots, and cutlery in the cupboards when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots and other hot objects on the tables or countertops without trivets. Always use a cutting board when cutting food.
Please leave the interior of the oven and microwave clean.
Damage
Nobody intentionally damages things, but it can happen to anyone. We would appreciate it if you would report any damage so that we can discover it during the final cleaning, rather than waiting until after your departure. The tenant is liable for any damage up to the replacement cost.
Ventilate
To avoid the formation of mold, we ask you to ventilate the rooms sufficiently, at least once a day for 5-10 minutes and especially after showering.
Duty of care
We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and ensure that their fellow travelers and relatives also comply with the rental conditions. The front door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. Likewise, all windows must be closed when leaving the apartment to prevent possible damage from storms or burglary. Water and electricity resources must be used sparingly.
Disposal
Waste is separated into residual waste, glass, paper, and packaging with the green dot. Appropriate containers are available in the apartment and also on the property. These containers must be emptied upon departure at the latest.
Please only use trash cans and cosmetic bins in the bathroom with trash bags, and dispose of them in the general waste bin. No garbage, food scraps, harmful liquids, or similar items may be thrown or poured into the kitchen sink, toilets, washbasins, or showers! Avoid anything that could clog the pipes (do not flush toiletries or food scraps down the toilet).
cleaning
Should you encounter any accidents (extreme dirt, spills on the floor or countertops, etc.), we ask that you clean them immediately. We ask that you leave the apartment clean and tidy upon departure, and that you put all used dishes back in the cupboards. Cleaning supplies and dish towels are provided free of charge.
Internet/WiFi
Your apartment has a wireless internet connection (guest Wi-Fi). The access code is located on the separate Wi-Fi page. Using the internet with your own Wi-Fi-enabled device (laptop, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the Wi-Fi connection is free of charge for tenants. You use the internet at your own risk; the landlord disclaims any liability in connection with the tenant's internet usage. When using the internet access via the guest Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi usage rules must also be observed. Please understand, however, that we have to protect ourselves against misuse with a LOG-Inn confirmation.
smokers
Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the holiday apartment. Please leave the apartment when smoking. There is a designated area outside the front door where you can sit and smoke in peace. Ashtrays are provided and must be used. Discarding cigarette butts in the yard or in front of the property, including in the parking spaces, is prohibited.
A violation of the smoking ban will result in a cleaning fee of €250. A proven direct violation (witness or photographic evidence) of the cigarette butt disposal ban will result in a cleaning fee of €50.
Parking
Parking is available directly in front of the holiday apartments in the public parking areas to the left of the gate in the designated guest parking spaces. Parking directly in front of the entrance is expressly prohibited, as doing so would block escape and rescue routes. Illegally parked vehicles will be immediately towed away at your expense. The provision of a parking space does not constitute a storage contract. The landlord is not liable for the loss of or damage to motor vehicles parked or maneuvered on or in front of the property, including their contents, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
House rules
If repairs are required immediately, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the holiday apartment without the guest's knowledge.
Rest periods
In the spirit of good neighborliness, we ask you to respect public quiet hours when outside the apartment, such as the midday and nighttime quiet hours. Midday quiet hours are only on Sundays: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Nighttime quiet hours are daily: from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
As a courtesy, quiet should also be maintained in the holiday apartment itself between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Any unnecessary noise should be avoided at all costs.
Violations may result in immediate eviction from the apartment without any right to reimbursement.
Key
Please never hand over the keys. Lost keys must be reported immediately, and the guest is liable for the cost of replacement or repair.
Pets
Bringing your own pets is not permitted.
Violations will result in a cleaning fee of €150.
Our two house cats (Angel - white and Ylvie - leopard print) are strictly forbidden from being brought into the apartment. However, petting them outside is no problem at all.
We have pet- and smoke-free apartments, and we intend to keep it that way. If you leave the doors open or open the windows completely, you must expect that one of the two cats will try to get into the apartment. In this case, the cats must be evicted immediately.
Willful violations, such as knowingly keeping a cat in the apartment, will unfortunately require termination of the rental agreement and immediate eviction without refund or partial refund. Should pet hair remain throughout the apartment as a result, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of €150, which we will also subsequently collect from you if necessary.
So please, please do yourself a favor and leave the cats where they belong, outside in nature.
There are no exceptions in winter either, as the animals have a cat room that they can access at any time via a cat flap.
Liability for items brought along / other liability
The landlord excludes any liability.
Arrival and departure
On the day of arrival, the apartment will not be available before 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, we ask our guests to vacate the apartment by 10:00 AM at the latest. Early check-in (from 1:00 PM) and late check-out (until 12:00 PM) are possible for a fee of €15 each and by prior arrangement. The key must be handed over to the landlord or left on the dining table at the end of the rental period, as instructed. Upon your departure, the apartment should be left in the same condition as you found it.
By booking the holiday apartment, we assume that you accept the house rules.
Thank you for your attention.
We wish you a pleasant stay, lots of fun, relaxation and recreation.
